My favorite 1st author was Astrid Lindgren. Basically Sweden’s own Dr.Seuss, only more popular (From what i know). I think Pippi Långstrump has been translated to around 80+ different languages. But yea. Pippi, Emil i lönnebärga, barna i bullerbyn. The memories.. The TV adoptations are just as timeless too. Another author i really liked was Tove Janson, who made the Moomin series. Hardly do i see anything on any medium reach the uniqueness that he brought to his writing and characters. Only thing i really got from Dr.Seuss’ material when i was young was the Grinch and the cat in the hat.
